The Mapuche Collection: Silver Earrings
$32.00
Description
This collection is inspired on the Mapuche Indigenous Culture. The Mapuche people lived in southwestern Argentina at the time of the Spanish arrival.
Their tradition tells us that Sterling Silver was born from the tears of the Moon after her husband, the Sun, made her descend to the Horizon.
Mapuche jewelry was considered sacred and women wearing necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. felt protected against evil spirits.
This collection offers a contemporary twist. Pieces are lighter and made of alpaca, a very popular metal in Argentina, also known as white copper. These earrings carry Sterling Silver French earwires.
This piece of jewelry is delicate and simple, perfect for everyday use. The silver color matches everything. They look great with a casual or a more elegant outfit. With long or short hair. If you like to wear sets, check out the matching necklace in this store - sold separately.
These earrings are 3,5 cm long with the earwire. The disc part is 2 cm diameter x 0,4 cm thickness.
Regular price $45. Now special reduced price for Mother's Day: $32. Enjoy!
